The Envy wheel guard is a great alternative for those that don't want a flexible brake. The V2 wheel guard's main difference from the previous version is its mounting location. The V1 wheel guard was mounted on the top of the deck leaving an uncomfortable bump towards the rear of your deck. Envy heard about this oddity and reacted by mounting the new version solely on the bottom of the deck which fully deletes the bump making your ride much more comfortable.
